Where Technology Meets Ecology

Dawson Dairy

The Dawson Family has had a long history in the Dairy industry.

In 1900 the Dawson Family use to bottle their own milk, in milk cans and then glass bottles delivering to parts of Walmer, South End and so on by horse cart.

United Dairies was formed, and the Dawson family started supplying them.

Towards the end of 1999 the family started processing their own milk again under the Dawson Dairy brand. As the demand grew, the focus changed from fresh milk to amasi. At the beginning of 2019, the family was approached by Coega Dairy and by September 2019 there was a change of ownership. Dawson Dairy remains committed to producing the best amasi possible.
